Digital Freedom Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy on the internet and strives to exceed legal privacy requirements when it comes to the need for gathering and storing personal information about our site users and company clients.

Any order will have confidential material associated with it that we may or may not be made aware of. These may include your full name, address, telephone and email contacts as well as personal interest surveys and response forms. We are NOT currently made aware of or store Credit/Debit Card details as our card processing is currently operated through PayPal. By the very nature of the services that we supply your email address, age / dob, m / f, address, name, interests, contact details and other information may be stored in a specific database and/or mailing list defined on one of our internet connected web servers or inidividual hosting accounts. We follow strcict rules about the storage, protection and disclosure of your information to prevent unauthorised or unnescessary use of this data. We encourage users to set their public privacy settings and member to member preferences at levels that they feel comfortable with and to reveal only as little information as they wish at any given site. Public membership sites are hosted on servers located in the UK / EU. Sites with a trade only login / membership may be located globally.

Some personal Information that you supply to us is transferred to office systems isolated from the internet. This is normally part of our routine backup procedures or for increased information security reasons.

Occasionally Digital Freedom will need to contact you by email regarding the services that we supply to you. To ensure the continuing operability of the services we supply to you, it is imperative that you supply a working email contact. We may use information that you supply to us to inform you of new products and services that we think may interest you from our own network of sites, partners and advertisers. We do not pass any client's / site user's information on to third parties except where specificallly consented to by yourself. We are located in the UK and respect all legislation against unsolicited commercial email or 'spam' . This is otherwise known as using the 'opt in' procedure. We do not collect personally identifying information on your activities at our sites except when made explicit by us, either at a said facility, on this page or in our terms and conditions.

We list many third party links and sites at our network's pages and we cannot be held responsible for any privacy issues arising from users' voluntary use of such services. Sites are linked to in good faith at the time of listing and inclusion should not be construed as past, present or future endorsement of a site's content or its safety. We cannot be held responsible for the content of any external sites or any privacy issues arising from an internet user's visits to such sites.

Server logs, IP access reports, search requests and other data about all our sites' visitors may be available to us and used for site research and development purposes in an aggregated format that does not identify individual users.

We will not permit or aid in the use of any of our UK / EU / non EU based facilities to engage in spam-like communications of any form, including - but not limited to - mobile / fixed line telephone, SMS, Fax, Email, Message Board Posting and the likes and we will not allow hosting of any sites promoted within such communications.

Occasionally we make use of cookies to identify returning users and chart patterns of use and referral. These are small files transmitted to and stored on your computer and are a standard web activity. They are commonly used in conjunction with a forum membership, online shop account or similar.

Stored information is regularly purged by various methods, once it is no longer required for business or community purposes.

Occasionally our sites make use of or require the software, technology and cookies of third parties such as PayPal. We attempt at all times to deal with reputable companies with an established reputation and meaningful privacy policy.

We use a number of third-party advertising companies and networks to serve ads when you visit our websites. If, as is your legal right, you wish to receive a copy of the personal information that our company holds on file regarding yourself (commonly known as a 'subject access request') please contact our Data Control Officer by registered post. We make a small administration charge for this service.

UK residents - Please send a postal order or UK cheque for £8.50 made payable to 'Digital Freedom Limited' plus details of your name and address.

Please also include the URL(s) of any of our website(s) where you have a user account. We may require further information for clarification and for security reasons we may take various steps to authenticate your identity before discussing or releasing any personal details. We cannot discuss personal data enquiries over the telephone and this service may not be used to retrieve site login passwords or similar.

For UK residents a full response to your enquiry will normally be sent out by first-class mail (Post Office Recorded Signed For™) within 21 days of our receipt of your letter.

Non UK enquiries will be subject to a postage surcharge / data transfer restrictions and in the first instance you should send a registered letter to us, at the address listed above, including your name and address along with a postal order for £8.50 plus the cost of your preferred delivery method, out of those available from The UK Post Office and delivering to your country. We will reply to your enquiry within 21 days. Replies may not be trackable / recorded and your request for information to be sent outside the UK is entirely at your own risk.

The administration charge and any postage surcharge must be paid in full before we can perform a data search, subject access reply or send out any full response. Correspondents are responsible for any delay or additional postage / admin charges should their request contain insufficient or inaccurate information or be subject to non UK restrictions or surcharges.

Miscellaneous but important!

This privacy policy excludes standard exceptions in data protection such as legitimate disclosure of information to appropriate authorities where illegal activity is suspected.
