Our UK Servers, Hosting Zones and Network Hardware

stijlnet.com has webspace on numerous physical servers, many located in the United Kingdom. These hosting zones include dedicated servers and reseller accounts where a client's hosting may be on one of a number of different machines. When it comes to a client's managed server needs, we are able to offer excellent knowledge of the UK leased server market and can source a great deal on the machine their site deserves. For deployment of self maintained hardware there are also colocation options in a number of Greater Manchester datacentres.

Coming in 2010

Please note that our new hosting offers and server rollout plan were effectively abandoned at the start of March 2010 due to increasing overcapacity and lack of uptake from the public. Servers will be reserved for consultancy clients and publishing network use, not customer hosting, as we move forward.

Our 2010 server rollout plan is for 12 network machines with 50+ IP addresses by year end, some for dedicated purposes and some to replace existing hosting zones. The machines will bring a network allowance of a minimum of 50TB data per month plus 100Mbit dedicated connections by year end.

The main hosting and network dev machines will be located in Bluesquare Datacentre with secondary hosting, data backups and custom accounts having space on servers located elsewhere in the country. Numbers, names, specs and datacentres are provisional as of Dec 2009. Servers may be rolled out in any order as and when resources and scheduled hardware retirement dictate.

In late 2010 we are hoping to develop our own network datahub with rack space for an additional 12 servers, for non-critical local development and testing purposes.
