STIJLNET.COM - Pay Per Click Advetising through Google Adwords Search and Content Network

stijlnet.com has substantial experience using PPC or Pay per Click Search Engine advertising. These are sponsored adverts carried by various networks and located in strategic points throughout search engine pages returned to users searching for specific information. The two major networls are the Google Adwords (carried by AOLSearch, Ask and Netscape search in addition to Google's own search results) and the Overture network (used by Alta Vista, Yahoo and others). Our main activity is focussed on the Google Adwords programme, as this allows adverts to also appear through an ever expanding network of content sites carrying Google AdSense adverts. These vary from personal pages right up to exremely high traffic sites that are leaders within their given sector.

We have been using Google Adwords since May 2003, creating, maintaining, monitoring and optimising multiple campaigns, both for our own selected sites and those of others who have contracted our services.

Our average individual campaign's typical Ad Group targets approximately 50-100 keywords / keyphrases although some exceed 200 at any given time. Often a campaign for individual sites or groups of related sites will contain multiple Ad Groups with various highly specific and appropriate landing pages. From our experiences over the years we have developed highly effective ad writing skills to create compliant adverts that will be served many times over, succinctly describe products, services or sites and encourage high rates of relevant clickthroughs.

For each new campaign we can serve between approximately 20,000 and 2,000,000 adverts per month depending on sector, anticipated cost of clickthroughs and projected click through rate. Established advertisers may scale their advertising impressions, budget and delivery upwards after an initial three month period.

Potential Advertisers may choose from the three different advertising and payment models that we provide

List rental - Advertisers wishing to gain a relatively brief, but highly targeted, delivery of traffic to their site will be best served by 'list rental.' These are lists of established and proven keywords that we use to deliver traffic to selected sectors from both the Search and Content networks. The lists of keywords and clickthough rates are not viewable or shared with the advertiser and there are no set-up or mangement fees. Instead the rate is purely based on a 'per-click' rate. An example of this would be the vendor of a business for sale who wishes to purchase, say, 2000 potential purchaser clicks within a one month period. This is available within a limited but expanding number of sectors where we operate research and content sites including marine related, greek business and property sales, travel, tourism and holiday related, book selling and publishing and UK regionally specific. Full payment for such traffic delivery is payable in advance. Any clicks unused within the given period may be carried over or refunded pro-rata by cheque at the choosing of the advertiser. Cost per click depends upon sector specifics, typical value of each conversion and number of clicks required. Minimum budget for list rental is currently £POA

Ad Group Management - Individually tailored campaigns exclusively and specifically created for a given client / advertiser may be set up and managed within our own Google accounts. These may run for a minimum of three months and are subject to set-up fees and management fees in addition to the actual cost of adverts served by Google. Monthly electronic reports are provided to a client regarding cost per click, click through rate and keyword popularity. These are monitored on a regular basis and modifications made accordingly to maximise clicks and conversion rates for a given budget. Payments for set up fees, monthly management fees and advertising costs are payable in advance. Should adverts be served significantly over or under the projected budget these will be debited / credited on the next month's account, although the aim of any campaign is to serve an approximately consistent value of adverts each month, unless otherwise specified by the client eg: relating to a market that is seasonally variable or temporary increase in budget to coincide with a new propomtion, product line or similar.

Total Campaign Mangement - Total Campaign Management is operated through the My Client Centre interface. After a client has opened a Google Adwords account and inputted their business / personal details and card information they may authorise our Google Adwords Professional account to have access and configuration / setup privileges. Once the set-up fee and first month's management fee has been received we will begin to build and monitor the client's campaign. Client has full access to their own Google statistics as and when they wish to log in to view campaign progress. Campaigns paid for directly to Google and managed under the My Client Centre may pay their advertising fees monthly on a 'post delivery' pay basis. However we do insist that for new accounts (ie: where the advertiser has never made payment to Google and is unknown to our own network) a deposit is required by us for the first month's anticipated advertising in addition to the advance set up and management fees. This will be either returned to an advertiser or credited to their management account after three months' payments have been made to Google and ourselves. Unfortunately this is necessary with new advertisers to avoid card and/or payment abuse.

Set-up and management fees for Ad Group or Total Campaign vary according to complexity, campaign budget, sector competition, anticipated performance, number of different adverts to be run, number of landing pages and other factors. The minimum set-up fee is £POA and monthly management fee £POA in addition to the cost of adverts. After three months an optional one hour online consultation may be scheduled (at a cost of £POA) to allow clients to ask questions about their account, suggest new keywords to be tested within a new Ad Group or specify sites they wish to be excluded from content network ads. In light of such consultation a revised budget and management fee would apply.
